High-quality learning analysis that goes beyond simple score interpretation

Combining educational theory, practical strategies, and cross-subject integration perspectives.

01

Not focused on score improvement analysis

We don't chase higher numbers. We help you understand what the numbers mean — grounded in how children actually learn and grow, not in how to perform better on the next test.

02

Structural and theoretical analysis as a starting point for intervention

Every report is built on educational theory and structured diagnosis — giving parents and educators a meaningful foundation, not just a summary of what already happened.

03

A more powerful strategic framework through intentional restraint

We don't overwhelm with suggestions. We surface the two or three things that matter most — so you know exactly where to focus, and why.

Three ways we help you understand your child's growth

Each service is designed to give you understanding, not just data.

Frequently asked questions

Find answers to common questions about MapMastery.

MapMastery is a global educational platform that supports children's holistic growth and designs possibilities. We have developed our own educational technology algorithms based on verified educational theories, and use them to analyze various learning assessment results and materials. The analysis results include achievement, strengths and weaknesses, and personalized strategies, and are issued as reports through AI.

We currently support analysis of the MAP Growth Progress Report issued by NWEA and students' writing (Writing Samples).

We plan to expand analysis to various assessments (such as DIBELS) in the future, and are preparing connected activities through which the suggested strategies can be put into practice.

Through a cycle of interpreting student data to derive strategies, putting them into practice, and repeating the process, we help children think, express themselves, and grow independently.

Under the mission of designing possibilities rather than scores, MapMastery seeks to see children as they are, without judging them by their scores, and to draw a map of growth suited to each child's pace. In particular, its analysis is based on Benjamin Bloom's theory of Mastery Learning and the philosophy that all students can fully achieve learning goals when given the right conditions.

The theoretical system for analyzing standardized assessment results draws on self-determination theory (Deci & Ryan), metacognition, and self-regulated learning (Zimmerman), among others, and structurally integrates them to map strategies for learning performance.

For Writing, strategies are mapped based on cognitive development, focusing on writing-specific theories such as those of Bereiter & Scardamalia and Flower & Hayes.

MAP workflows require NWEA MAP Growth Student Progress Reports. Writing workflows accept student-authored files listed in the in-product uploader.

The analytical insights provided by MapMastery do not include a specific learning plan for achieving a particular goal (score). Identify the strengths highlighted by the analysis and first build your child's self-efficacy. Then approach areas that need improvement through concepts, focusing on points where fundamental understanding is needed. Please use the patterns and strategies presented to set learning direction and support the process through which your student/child experiences achievement.

MapMastery is not a service that simply inputs data into AI and retrieves an answer. It is a specialized system that ensures 'educational validity' and 'consistency' through verified assessment frameworks and its own analysis engine.

- Presence of a structured analysis engine: While general AI tools may interpret the same input differently each time, MapMastery follows a deterministic Rule-based Engine. It always produces the same, objective diagnosis for the same data.

- Matching verified educational strategies: MapMastery takes Benjamin Bloom's Mastery Learning as its philosophy and logically connects students with appropriate educational strategies based on educational psychology theories such as ZPD (Zone of Proximal Development) and self-regulated learning.

- Defining AI's role: In MapMastery, AI serves as an 'explainer', rather than the entity performing the analysis. AI technology is used to convert the structured analysis results produced by our engine into natural language that students and parents can easily understand and to present them in visual reports, ensuring analysis accuracy and report readability.

- Connections across domains and in-depth diagnosis: Rather than stopping at interpreting isolated information, MapMastery provides comprehensive, multifaceted analysis according to logic that can analyze the possibility of Transfer of Learning across subjects.

- Transparency of decisions: When generating a report, MapMastery creates 'Decision Trail' information showing which criteria and logic were used, assuring the quality of analysis. This distinguishes it from using general AI directly by providing trustworthiness through educational technology explanations of "why did this result occur?"

First create a parent account with an email address and password, then add child profiles on the dashboard. Children do not need separate accounts. Only people aged 18 or older may create an account.

Currently, all MapMastery services are paid services. You can check the fees for each service on the [Pricing] page.
