MapMastery analyzes MAP Growth Report data using educational theory and learning analytics to diagnose growth patterns, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and recommend evidence-based strategies.

MapMastery does not provide score-improvement plans or short-term study methods. Our focus is on fundamental learning capacity and expanding the way students think.

MapMastery's analysis is grounded in educational validity and practical application:

• Data sourced from established, standardized assessments (NWEA MAP Growth, DIBELS 8th Edition by the University of Oregon) that meet recognized standards for reliability and validity
• Growth pattern classifications and literacy analyses developed based on Learning Analytics and educational measurement theory
• Writing analysis grounded in established academic writing frameworks and language development research
• Strategy recommendations designed using research on learning strategy effectiveness
• Pattern-to-strategy matching built on evidence-based suitability criteria

MapMastery uses AI technology (OpenAI GPT and Anthropic Claude) to deliver its analysis services. All services follow the same core process:

• Data input: User-submitted data (PDF uploads or direct score entry) is used solely for analysis purposes
• AI analysis: Submitted data is processed by AI to generate educational insights and recommendations
• Deletion: All original input data (PDFs, writing samples, raw scores) is permanently deleted immediately after analysis is complete
• Output: AI-generated reports and feedback are stored securely and accessible only to the account holder

AI-generated outputs are supplementary reference materials. They do not guarantee complete accuracy or serve as absolute diagnostic conclusions. Outputs may have the following limitations:

• Some content may involve generalizations
• Results may not fully account for cultural or linguistic context
• Individual psychological, environmental, and non-cognitive factors cannot be fully captured through data alone

• This report is not an official analysis product of NWEA (MAP Growth) or the University of Oregon / Center on Teaching and Learning (DIBELS)
• All analyses are educational interpretations based on MapMastery's proprietary analysis model and may differ from those of NWEA or the University of Oregon

The analysis and strategies presented by MapMastery are logically sound and practically grounded. However, each analysis is based solely on the data provided from the respective assessment, which covers a defined set of academic domains. As a result:

• Individual psychological factors, environmental circumstances, and non-cognitive characteristics cannot be fully assessed through data alone
• For MAP Growth analysis: NWEA itself recommends combining standardized strategies with individualized adjustments
• For DIBELS analysis: The University of Oregon notes that DIBELS scores are intended for instructional decision-making only and should not be used as a standalone diagnostic tool
• For Writing Feedback: AI-generated writing analysis provides structural and linguistic observations only. Comparisons to external assessments or proficiency benchmarks (such as standardized English proficiency tests) are approximate and should not be interpreted as official placement or eligibility assessments
• Supplementing MapMastery's recommendations with additional strategies tailored to the student's specific context, subject needs, and personal circumstances is encouraged
• When combined with a teacher's holistic student evaluation, MapMastery's reports are most effective
